As a humm merchant partner, you will have the flexibility to offer an additional finance option to your customers for bigger buys and expenses, and pay them off over a longer period of time ranging from 3 – 120 months.
You will have multiple options to provide your customers to meet their needs and grow sales. humm loan provides an alternative to finance options like humm BNPL which need to have comparatively higher MSF to cover the cost of finance, since costs cannot be passed onto the customer.

We need to verify your income to meet our responsible lending obligations. To do this, during the application process we will give you the option to login to your bank account and provide your bank details via Bank Statements Online so we can verify your income.

We do not receive your banking login details and can only ever access a “view only” version of your transaction data. We do not have the facilities or capability to take any action related to your account(s).
The internet banking credentials that you enter are used for Banks Statements Online (BSO) solution provided by Illion Australia Pty Ltd. Your credentials will be used to retrieve your bank statements, credentials will be managed by Ilion Australia Pty Ltd. In accordance with their Privacy policy. We only use the information retrieved through this process for the purpose of assessing your application.
If you aren’t comfortable providing your income information through Bank Statements Online (BSO) solution, you can choose the option to email your proof of income later if your merchant partner accepts it. Acceptable proofs of income are payslips, tax statements, and other documents that clearly state your income for a specified period.
If you have opted for a manual income verification process, you will receive an email with guidance on acceptable income documents that must be provided. Please note, this process will require a humm staff member reviewing your application that may require contacting you and may take longer.
Yes, you can indicate your desired credit limit during the application process online via app or through the humm website. Approval is subject to our lending criteria and the approved credit limit may be lower than your requested amount.
Applications that meet humm's lending criteria and have BSO completed can be approved within minutes. You will be immediately advised of the outcome – be it approved or approved with lower credit or declined if you don’t meet our lending criteria.
If you have been asked to submit additional documents, your application may take an additional 1-2 business days to review after submission of the additional documents.
humm loan gives you the flexibility and peace of mind to get a pre-approval for your potential spend be it a lifestyle purchase or incidental spends like dentistry, vet, fertility clinics etc. You can get pre-approval for up to $50,000 via the mobile app or online portal. Approved credit can be used at any of our merchants offering humm loan via a shorter application provided its within acceptable timeframe.

You can request for the limit and will be guided through the application process. You will also be given a decision based on our lending criteria.
